Basics of Composting

Recycling food and other organic waste into compost provides a range of environmental benefits, including improving soil health, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, recycling nutrients, and mitigating the impact of droughts. Workshop instructor, Sarah Boltwala-Mesina, composting expert and co-founder of Food2Soil, will introduce the 'Basics of Composting' and will show the tools and recipe to successfully build your first backyard compost pile and teach you how to build and care for your first worm bin.
